Lean Cuisine

I typically buy Smart Ones frozen foods because the WW points are clearly printed on the cover of the box. However, Lean Cuisine also offers WW points on the sides of their boxes as well. Here are a few of my favorite meals from them. Check out the Lean Cuisine Weight Watcher's Points Finder.

Chicken in Peanut Sauce - 5 points

Traditional Pepperoni Pizza - 7 points

Vegetable Spring Roll - 6 points

Baked Chicken - 5 points

Week 4

Weekly weigh-in/update: I lost 1 lb last week, which brings my total weight loss to 8.8 lbs since I started Weight Watchers exactly a month ago. I haven't reached my 10 lb goal yet, but I'm still soo excited to have lost so much in such a short time!

On the snack front, I found a treasure trove of 100 calorie candies at Super Target this week. I got 3 Musketeers, Swedish Fish and super yummy York Peppermint Patty crisp bars. Each individually wrapped serving is 2 points, so I can have a treat without the side of guilt.

Still no exercise yet, but I have been trying to include more walking in my every day routine. I park farther away from places than usual and take extra laps around the store when I'm shopping.

Only a little over a pound to go!

Week 4

My usual meeting day is Monday, but it was Labor Day this week so I went on Tuesday instead. I lost 2.6 lbs since last week for a total of 7.8 lbs since I started. I was hoping for a bit more, but I'll take what I can get.

I still haven't started any exercise yet, but I have been eating more fruits & veggies. My faves are apple slices & baby carrots.

Only 2.2 lbs til I reach my first weight loss goal!

Week 3

Today was my weekly weigh-in. I ate out twice last week and had waaay too many points those days (thank God for those weeklies!) I lost .6 lbs. Not exactly a great success, but I'll take it. I'm more than half way to my first goal of 10 lbs!

I still haven't incorporated exercise into my weight loss plan because the elliptical machine I bought is refusing to fit together. Hopefully I can get that sorted out this week and start doing some cardio every day.

Welcome To Moe's!

If you've never heard of Moe's Southwest Grill before, it's like Chipotle. If you've never heard of Chipotle, it's a casual dine-in/take-out restaurant featuring delicious Tex Mex fare. And who doesn't like that??

My usual Moe's meal consists of a Joey Junior burrito with chicken, rice, lettuce and cheese accompanyied by a basket of tortilla chips and a side of queso. Thinking this meal would be a 100 points, I decided to consult their very thorough & interactive nutrition menu and calculate the info.

To my surprise, the burrito only comes to 8 points! Not too bad. The queso is an extra 4, so I add that, but the chips are a whopping 18 so I skip them.

Week 2: Update

I lost 4.6 lbs last week!!! I stayed within my points everyday (for the most part) and used up all of my weekly allowance points. I cheated last night and today before my weigh-in and still lost! I'm so excited to have made a little progress! I'm almost halfway to my first personal goal of 10 lbs!

Last night I caved at McDonalds and today I cheated again at Applebees - even though they have a WW menu! I felt so gross afterwards because my body was getting used to not having greasy foods, so I'm not going to waste any more points on crappy food anymore.

This week I'm excited to try some new WW-friendly foods I picked up at the store today:
